A few days ago, I began cutting out the dandelion greens that are very quick to grow this time of year. Some are even blooming. So, I cut them off below the soil line with old scissors and use the greens for mulch. Works great! |
Its good to hear about a good use for them. |

| Tree continues to fail. Half of the tree has yellow leaves and immature fruit. The other half has no leaves, no blooms, and no fruit. Serious issues. |

I cut off the bloom a few weeks back. The ants loved the juices on the stump. Then I dropped a piece of firewood on another leaf, and it broke off. I should be nicer to it! |

Ramps (wild garlic), a perennial, I planted in the corner of the firepit garden. Bared the soil, roughed it up, dropped seeds, roughed it again, and recovered w mulch.
