Dandelion green harvest begins Apr 01, 2013
Activity-icon-status

A few days ago, I began cutting out the dandelion greens that are very quick to grow this time of year.  Some are even blooming.  So, I cut them off below the soil line with old scissors and use the greens for mulch.  Works great!

Its good to hear about a good use for them.

I cut off the bloom a few weeks back.  The ants loved the juices on the stump.
Then I dropped a piece of firewood on another leaf, and it broke off.
I should be nicer to it!
doxy replied 3 days ago
One big, strong leaf holding up, and a new one emerging.  If I don't squash it again, we'll probably make it.  Watered it today.

No sign of these.  I've been watching for them, but see no evidence of germination.

Still no sign.  Seems like they'd have germinated and come up by now.
