I'd like to get one of those cameras that senses the motion of the birds and takes pictures automatically.....I've just heard about them but have never done any research on them and don't even know how much they cost.  Did you sign up for the Spring Gardener's Idea Day?  It would be fun to meet a YGS gardener from MI.  I think a couple garden club members signed up.  I signed up my husband and my mom.  My mom likes P. Allen Smith so I bought her a ticket for Mother's Day.....I hope she doesn't have anything going that day. (less)

Certainly it's very active, it has great folks to talk too and it's improvements look benificial. Plus I like the little bee icon, makes me giggle when I see it, I don't know why, strange! I do have to take some time to check out how your garden went. You are pretty much done right? Harvesting still? Did I post My tipsy pot with herbs? I can't remember. I'll have to just take another photo. The pots are now full and still looking great. I'll be back a bit later with a photo, (I'm at work now, lol) (less)

I've been going for the cottage garden look. Butterflies are what I'm trying to attract this year. I've put in Hollyhock, butterfly flower,more Echinacea, foxglove,  and I have black eyed susan,mallow  wild voilets, among others, and I am adding Zinna in the back flower garden. The side flower garden I have black eyed susans, phlox, tickseed, columbine, white yarrow and will be adding some aster, and sun flower. In the front, well lots more. Sweet Williams, lavender, painted daisy, tickseed, white yarrow, columbine, lupine, latrine and all the spring flowers are out there.
This is my second year with a big veggie garden, all I've done with veggies is in pots. Needed more tomato, so I can make sauce.
