My husband and I live in a condo, so we have no yard, but our friend who lives less than a mile from us has a huge yard. Three summers ago, we dug up about 250 sq ft of her lawn for a garden. We grow mostly tomatoes, peppers, beets, cucumbers, green beans and herbs. Each year we try other new things like kohlrabi or brussel sprouts. We have a few perennials like strawberries, rhubarb, chives, sage and new this year is horseradish.
