So glad for a clean space to plant

For me adding a temporary greenhouse to start seedlings and shelter plants from cooler weather is very important. Not only does it serve that duty, it also is a great way to keep the garden tidy by corralling a lot of my garden paraphernalia. I can keep extra trays and pots there as well as buckets of compost accessible for touching up or re-potting my little oopsies. The little oopsies this year happened because the DH and I are putting in a new patio area and with all the digging and purchasing and carrying I was too tired to tend my plants. It's amazing what day makes or in this case takes away... Especially when it's 80+ degrees out. Yes I knew better and should have sent out one of the kids but we all worked very hard. I feel a little cheated but at the same time I have to shake it off and go on. Cabbages will again abound in our garden. I just won't be the one starting them from seed until later this year. Oh well!
