I have a vegetable garden and some perennials on a farm in north central Alberta and a barren yard in Fort Saskatchewan. We built a new house this year and are just starting to do the yard. It is exciting to have a "blank canvas" to work with but also very daunting.

    Thanks for the welcome. I'm originally from Edmonton many decades ago and still have a lot of family there. Yes, July was a record bad month for us, not the norm at all.
