The garden of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter that provides a place of peace, acceptance and employment for individuals who are diagnosed with a mental illness and/or other disabilities. I volunteer to teach both gardening and work skills, and am a friend of our gardeners.

Oh this is fabulous. An Eagle Scout landscaped a beautiful memorial garden where I teach. A great way for them to earn the honor and help the community. |

Some of our Eagle Scouts are also people with disabilities. It is so exciting for these kids to help us with such useful and meaningful projects, and see them become great young men!! |
