I have a "mini orchard" in Midtown Palo Alto, CA. We are about 30 miles south of San Francisco. I have 20 fruit trees and growing as I plant a new fruit tree every year. I also have seven hens that I raise for the eggs. All the chickens are my pets and have names. My oldest girl, Hannah Banana, is nine years old.

In terms of the garden, I'm interested in knowing more about caring for fruit trees, prunning, protecting and great tips for canning fruit.
