I have several gardens on our river lots that is our year-round home. The house is about 100 feet from the river. My main gardens are behind the house next to a spring fed pond & it's creek. Great spot for all kinds of flowers & shrubs. The river side of the house has a large circle garden in the center of the yard & border gardens on either side. The back of the house has a Hibiscus garden along the length of the house & border gardens along the property lines. Then across the road in more sandy, rocky soil I have a strip garden along the road with prickley pear cactus, daylilies, red hot pokers,...
