Numerous perennials, chives, winter onions all growing like crazy. Now, it's snowing. An inch of heavy, wet stuff already. 70 above 2 wks ago, tornadoes last week & now snow. Will we actually be getting summer this year? :(

| In the east it has been cold and raining all spring. Hard to start anything outdoors. |

Raised beds were built in 2010. I soon found that my little plan was not big enough, so I brought in large pots for some of the veggies. This year, the herbs are all moving to a large planter on the patio and all the tomatoes are going into pots as well. On the other side of the yard we're putting in a large bee/butterfly flower garden. Another spot will be home to raspberry/blueberry bushes. Everything is started from organic seed whether started in the house or seeded right into the ground. I use organic potting soil, backyard compost and no chemicals of any kind are welcome.
