| I grew the cannas and elephant ear plants in these large containers so I could move them around if necessary. I did not split the plants last year so the containers are really packed with tubers that need to be divided. |

I have been working this backyard for the past 4 years including this one. Every year I try to add something new in terms of plant display, plant supports, containers, flower boxes. I plan to add a trellis over the garage door that will also cover the short sidewalk. This will be more decorative and visual just to cover the ugly side of the garage. I already added a bright yellow green trellis to support morning glory vines and other plants yet to be decided. I split a lot of hostas and day lillies this spring already and plan to thin out most of the perennials that survived this mild winter. I have...
