I like straightneck yellow squash so much better than crookneck. It's just a personal choice but i put a lot up every year and it just seems easier with the straightneck.
this is my first attempt with squash and i honestly dont know what kind it is. i got the seeds at a seed swap earlier this year, soooo...... it will be surprise squash!
There's no telling what you'll end up with.I got some seeds from an elderly lady last year that she called "Apple Gourds" but they never made any gourds. I was disappointed.
