Nematodes Rd.2

It has been appx. 1 month since I put out my second application of beneficial nematodes and I must say again that I am more than pleased. The ants are gone and my neighbors who had some ant issues too, said they have far less than they did a month ago. They are considering using nematodes in the future.

I may try them again.  I tried them last year, but I am sure it was just to hot and dry for them to live. Can you post where you got them again?

@Clenram: I got mine from Gulf Coast Biotics. there does have to be moisture in the ground for them to survive, so they may not have been very effective last year. i have added someto my compost this year already.

Have you ever added them to your compost pile?  That seems to be the main place I get fire ants.
