This is my first attempt at a vegetable garden not grown in containers. We had to have a large tree removed last year and the space was perfect for a small kitchen garden. So this spring I added a lot of amendments to the soil and planted some herbs and veggies: Thai basil, globe basil, rosemary, thyme, several tomato plants (Cherokee Purple, Mr. Stripey, Banana Cream, Sungold Cherry, Bush Cherry, Sweet 100s), patty pan squash (Yellow Scallop Bush), okra, orange bell pepper, sugar snap peas. And "Happy" the cat helped!
