Thanks!  It's a "he".  He's a good boy, too.  I've gotten him to stop digging - now I need to get him to stop eating my fertilizer.  It's organic and all, and he doesn't eat much, but still can't be too good for him...

@julia42: Dogs (bless them) have a tendency to roll in & eat the most disgusting things.  But I'm sure he's a welcome addition to the family.
