It seems to go really slow even if you turn it.  We have plenty of veggie waste from the house along with coffee grounds, tea bags, onions,... ...see more

@SweetDomesticity: You have a great point. I should get a seperate bin....as yesterday was a disaster working with it.
NarleeJane replied 11 months ago

I have a verma-composter that I am trying to work - this is year two of it, and did get some really nice soil from it this spring - I'll keep working it and see what happens. :)

@NarleeJane: good to know that it eventually pays off.

We pick blackberries that came with the house we bought back in January.  There really is something new everyday.  Its amazing how you can... ...see more

@vanna516: I am all about easy. This is my first year actually physically doing it. (in the past I've been so nervous, I just let my mom do it - cause shes the expert.... :) )

Hi! We live in the same 'hood :) Wondering what the "fluffy" flower above is called...

Jane

jupiter replied 11 months ago
@NarleeJane: The pink fluffy flower is the blooms from our Mimosa tree. They smell like a cross between a peach and an orange. :)

Thank you, this is such a wonderful "how to" show.  That really looks good.  I have been reading, on YGS, about so many good Pesto's, but I have not actually made one.  Thanks again...  :) :)
