What exactly is EM-1?  I did not seem to get that from the video?  The video was very good, and it is promising to see him growing w/o radiation in his harvest.  Crazy world we live in today, ...

EM-1 is Effective Microorganisms.  You can find it online.  I bought 1 liter but you only need a 1/4 cup to make a 25 lb batch.  Here is a site I just found on it.  http://www.bokashico... more »

Will Bokashi composting you also get a wonderful tea for your garden to help your plants grow. Do some researcher to see for yourself :o) I will be going again next year to the Mothers Earths Fair.

Your welcome.  As an update, I bought the EM-1 and the other items needed to make the Bokashi and it was so easy to make.  I'm now doing the compost in my buckets I made.  I think I have som... more »

It sounds really good.  I certainly have some plants that could benefit from compost tea.  I tried making some from our compost, but the dogs and I had an argument over the buckets and they won.  I need to start again.  :)

I went to the Mother Earths Fair in Puyallup Wa on Sat. It's was the best fair I had ever been to. I learned so much about gardening and other things. My new way to compost is going to be Bokashi. It's quit and easy.
