I am an 18 year old gardener. My earliest memories of gardening take me back to when I was 2 or 3. My dad had a garden in the backyard of our house. The main things I remember are cherry tomatoes, rhubard, and eating ants! haha. I am strictly organic and non-GMO when it comes to gardening and food. I buy most all of my food from local sources, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruits, dairy. Last summer season I grew vegetables on 1/4 of an acre of land to sell at my local farmers market. At the moment I have a small home garden. I have been an apprentice at a local farm and food store since September 2010. My dream is to one day create my dream homestead. I currently live in Murphys, California. I have been with my boyfriend for four years. (He is a firefighter.) I believe I have a vast amount of knowledge that needs to be shared with everyone. Gardening and cooking are my passions. They will be part of my life forever.
