White flies are everywhere and mosquitos. I only have a couple of tomato plants left, but I will be planting some new seedlings next week for my fall garden.

Its hot here, so I've been pulling up tomato plants that aren't producing anymore. I'll start seeds for the fall garden at the end of next month. So far, most of my plants have done well.

This was Round one of fig season. I picked those last weekend, we cooked them down, and canned them. We did another batch two days ago and now we have another batch to do today. Our fig tree is being very good to us this year.

My mother has been having complications to her medication so I haven't been journaling or keeping up my garden page. Its funny that radiation and surgery for her breast cancer didn't bring her down as much as the hormone therapy they put her on. My garden

I am glad you are back, so sorry to hear about you mom.  It sounds like she will be fine and that is good, but yes, I've heard that hormone therapy can be hard.  Best wishes for her recovery.

Followup. All plants came up and put on beans. I have a small mason jar with soup mix now. Awesome experiment!! The black bean pods were so beautiful that I'm going to plant more for their looks.

These didn't do well. I pulled up the gangly plants mid season. Maybe they were treated.
