| I start about 40 kinds of heirloom tomatoes from seed and sell the plants. It replaces a little of the 100's I spend out of my own pocket...every bit helps. |

The school year has ended. We spent the last few weeks adding lots of hay around the plants, weeding and making sure garden was ready for a summer of being tended by only a skeleton crew of 3 parents/familes and myself.

I finally compiled a list of things we have planted at school. The list is not comprehensive because I do not add everything to the garden journal. See comments for the rest.

Sadly your posts, on my screen, look a bit jumbled. The first half is all font type information and your actual post is at the end. Strange, never saw this before. |

I have been gardening with my 5th students for 15 years. The kids take home oodles of veggies every year then I follow them home and ask the parents to show me how they make their traditional Mexican dishes and then I sit down and eat with them. It's a beautiful thing!
