My brother is a helo pilot in the Navy.  Awesome that you can follow your passion to stay home and keep after the homestead!
linzelu100 replied over 1 year ago
@PYehl: That's awesome! I may know him...it's a really small world in aviation...especially helo's. If I don't know him, my husband might. My husband is an EMS/Instructor pilot for the Army...he's trained quite a few Navymen. He's just now switching over to hospital EMS flying. I haven't been in any of it for a while. I caught the cooking bug, and then I started finding out what's in the food at the grocery store and it made me sick. I've been trying to grow for YEARS! So unsuccessful :( But this year is really working out. (My mother is able to grow vegetables she didn't even plant, that happened to be in her compost and just sprouted! I haven't even been able to grow african violets, which my mother tells me is a sign I have a black thumb.) But I keep trying!
