What are your favorite peppers you have tried?
linzelu100 replied 2 months ago
I'm obsessively going through seed catalogues for pepper ideas for next year.  I really want to try Beaver Dam Pepper, a mild hot stuffing type pepper. A few others have my eye as well. We have a lot ... more »

If I had to pick one, I'd say Cyklon - it's a Polish heirloom that has really thin flesh and is best for drying (but they do add nice flavor to salsa, too.  They make the most amazing red pepper flake... more »

What fruit varities can I plant this spring and get fruit from in 2013?

Well we moved into our new place and really enjoy it. 8 acres is a big difference from our last place. Unfortunatley, there isn't anything growing but a red bud, crepe mrytal, butterfly bush and a few bulbs.  So we are starting over again, but this time a big plot is what we will work with.

Blueberries should produce the first year, thought it might be a reduced yield if the bush is putting a lot of energy into getting re-established in its new location. Transplanting the bush as early as pos... more »

linzelu100 replied 3 months ago
I also have a 15x15 foot space for pumpkins/winter squash... same questions apply. I can increase this space size too, but don't really want too.
