We are a young family attempting to grow our food. It hasn't been easy, but has been rewarding to say the least. Last year was our first successful garden and this year we are expanding. We decided to move to a new house with more land. We are leaving behind our raised beds and fruit orchard, but in exchange will have much more space to experiment with. I am tinkering with square foot gardening this year, along with growing melons and pumpkins for the first time.
