Garden depression! Woodchuck is obsessed and has figured out 3 ways into the garden. She chomped all the lettuce again AND the tops off of HALF of my 3 inch sprounting pole beans! O'well, I'll get over it by buying more pole beas :) Maybe even a diffe

So sorry about your plants.  I think something is eating the leaves off my bean sprouts... sad that the critters do not believe in the sharing system.  I would be at a loss for figuring out what to do with a woodchuck.

HAHA!  She's such a nice woodchuck.  We love her so we really can't be too mad.  She has 7 babies that are out playing in the yard now.  And they are the cutest things EVER!  It's not like she doesn't have anything to eat :)  haha.  There are literally hundreds of acres of greens, not to mention crop of wheat!  haha.  O'well.  I'll just keep planting.  My great grandma always planted enough for her and the critters :)  Guess I'll have to follow that!  This is the first year in 3 that she has messed around in the garden.  One thing that's good is she doesn't like the spinach and arugula.

@milliesgarden: I love your great grandmother's attitude of planting enough for her & the critters!  Sorry about your plants ...  but you seemed to have inherited some of your G-grandma's patience & generosity.

I guess you should plant her, her crop out side the fence, then maybe she wont feel the need to go in.... but then again, we all know that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.  :)  Good luck.
