I've started a decent amount of my seeds inside, most of which aren't for the Grow It Forward, yet.  I'm planning on starting the tomatoes and amaranth tonight.

Got my seeds in the mail today, Marigold Orange Hawaii, Watermelon, Tomato Monomakh's Hat, Amaranth Miriah, and Swiss Chard.  Planning on doing some research since I haven't grown a few of them and then starting to get them going inside this weekend.

I've grown the amaranth before but didn't really know how to go about harvesting it to use as a grain.  My husband can't eat gluten and I do buy an amaranth flour, but was curious how I could make it ... more »
