I like to plant vegetables which I often share with the deer and rabbits.  We have a 6 foot chain link fence around the garden and orchard to keep out the elk and moose.  Last year I had 12 pumpkins and canned several pints and made pumpkin pies.  Would like a recipe for pumpkin soup.  The yellow squash were also great but I had only two zucchini on four plants and the cucumbers were a disaster as well.  Lots of radishes, carrots, and peas.  I am planning on trying out some heirloom seeds.
