This is the first year working this soil, we are blessed with 7 acres along side a beautiful stream and plenty of space work a garden. Our garden is located in an open pasture next to the barn which originally was a lumber mill. The sound of the river and the buzzing of bees from the nearby hive are all I can hear when tending to our 600+ sq. ft. garden with five 25' by 6' grow bio-intensive beds. We are going to be working with 35+ varieties and test our favor by growing as much as possible in these five beds. The soil is pretty good as we are in a flood plane and a valley with volcanic roots and micro-climates...
