Thanks for the comments Liz and JMTKMS. It really is handy. I did find that to much hay from nesting boxes can bind things until it starts to break down. That and for this style, with the holes drilled aro... more »

My niece's husband made me one similar to that about 2 years ago - I've enjoyed having it but I'm always growing things in there ... last year potatoes, this year spaghetti squash.

That is a nice compost bin.  We made one out of an old metal trash can last summer and put some wheels so that I can turn it every time I add some kitchen scraps.  It has worked very well for us.

What great planning!  It will be fun to watch your garden grow... and see if chasing the sun works out.  I am really quite sure it will, sounds like you are quite ingenious in your gardening activities!
