Gardening since 1978

We live in sunny Moorpark Ca. just Between LA and Ventura Countys. The climate is somewhat mild. Not as hot as the valley or cool as the coast. As most we plant a mix of veggies using in the ground and above ground planting techniques. Both myself and my wife suffer from back problems so this year I have resorted to using saw horses to raise the garden several feet closer to us. We have started to use the Geopots / Smartpot fabric container in place of the old black plastic containers that we had previously used.
