I do enjoy your blog. You must have some very well rounded children.
ruthie replied about 1 year ago

I'm a bit on the nutty side, so I guess you could say rounded in that way. :)

Yes please...  I will be waiting for the picture.  I have a porch wall that could be much more productive as a shelf.  :)

Me too, and Craigslist! Just picked up a brand new smoker today, and several gardening pots - all free from Craigslist.

First thing my husband does (if he's home) in the mornings is scan Craigslist.

You are too cool.  You have the niftiest things.  I love this planter also, reminds me of something, can't quite place it. Very nice.
ruthie replied over 1 year ago
Thanks! I honestly think some former gardener must have passed on, and her/his stuff was donated to Salvation Army. I was finding way too many gardening goodies on that one visit!
JMTKMS replied over 1 year ago
Sad, but I am sure they are glad that their stuff went to a good loving home.

Thank you! He had lots of food to eat! Mainly the Crane flies flapping around, and a few moths. :)

Oops not Round Rock it's Round Top, Texas. I got you confused for nothing!
ruthie replied over 1 year ago

We have a town nearby called Red Rock too. I can see how confusing it is! :)

Here they come...I put the seeds directly in the soil this year on many of my plants.
ruthie replied over 1 year ago
I'm not feeling so brave for direct planting yet. Crazy weather lately and can't help but wonder if we'll see some frost? How do you feel about this year's growing season in Texas? Feeling optimistic?
