I love to garden.  Besides gardening, I love to attend garden shows. go on garden walks, and visit public gardens.  Many times these visits have inspired me to add something different to my own garden.

I have chain link all around my yard. I'm way ok with that, in fact, I put it there to help keep my youngest who has Down Syndrome from eloping down the street! My new neighbors don't have TruGreen doing the killer spray, so I can now trellis on the fence. I'd like to put some kind of hardscape barrier along the bottom so neighbor can weed trim without fear of trimming my plantings/so rabbits have a harder time coming in/so I can add more compost to my awful soil. Any suggestions as to what would look ok? Can you direct me to any pics of anything like this? I'll plan on taking suggestions to the neighbor.... I'd like to work with him on this, but I don't want to take a really dumb idea to him. Thanks so much! Elle
