I am a gardener in transition. I moved here 4 years ago, and my yard is small and sloped, and is a gas easement. Any work I do can be torn up at any moment by the gas company. I'm building raised beds, but was told last year that suddenly there may... or may not be.... work done by the gas company this year. I'm not expanding any more until I hear, but my garden means so very much to me.

We have always called them "garden" spiders, too! But I like "zig zag"! They can get to be a pretty hefty size, but they really are beautiful. |
