Heirloom Mammoth Melting Sugar Peas

If you like sugar peas, you will love Mammoth Melting Sugar Peas! After having planted several other types of sugar peas with "ok" results, I happened across a package of these seeds a couple of years ago on our way from Wisconsin to Texas - somewhere in Iowa perhaps...
Since the package said "heirloom" and I was "into" heirlooms, I decided to buy one packet. I saved some of the seeds the first year and planted again last year and then again in early January of this year. This year I had to buy another packet since I hadn't saved enough to satisfy my need for sugar peas! We've been feasting on them for several weeks already and the later ones I planted (almost 100 feet of them) are just starting to produce. So we're selling the excess and sharing with friends as well as eating them ourselves every way we can think to make them.
Give them a try. I think you'll be glad you did. If you live near us, come and
visit our farm and have a "pick-your-own" feast.
