We transplanted the only 3 surviving strawberry plants out of about 500 that we planted a year and a half ago. We had to move them to make room for other things. Put weed block mulch covered with sawdust around them and are trying to keep them as shaded as possible. Not sure whether it is really worth the bother but I'm a real softy when it comes to plants. I can't bear to part with any of them and am sad when they meet their natural demise.
