The Mortgage Lifter tomatoes that were planted in the garden earliest are now starting to turn. I've been watching them but a watch tomato never ripens! But much to my surprise and delight I noticed the first one starting to get a pinkish tinge today. Can't wait to try them. We've been eating a few of them green, sauteed with onion, eggplant and peppers. Yummy!
