@joeythejoe: haha yes! it's a worm that it was eating! talk about cutest snake ever!!snakes and kentucky aren't nearly as scary as texas :)

Garden snakes are actually quite beneficia... that is what it is, I say yes he is cute.

at first i didn't realize what it was...one of the neighborhood cats was sitting right next to it staring at (looking confused.) i thought the cat had killed it, and brought it too me (they loooveee giving me "gifts")

Cool!  I have not yet found a snake in my garden.  Surprising, considering the number of rats that seem to frequent it...
