Do you have any quinoa experience? Is it better to start them indoors or direct sow? I'm having a hard time getting them started.

direct sow. they need a lot of room to grow and they don't like to be transplanted, although i know people personally who have transplanted them. they also should be planted in the early spring, as soon as your ground can be worked.

I have done both direct sowing and transplants. I have been a bit more successful starting indoors and then moving outside. The ones i have grown inside where beautiful when they changed colors but the ones outside are 3x's as big.
