Dang it...seeing people's pics with eggs makes me GREEN with envy. Our city counsel wont even consider the issue. Ugh.

When your greenhouse is in your basement, it's really hard not to OVER tend your garden. When I am down there, sometimes several times a day, I find myself over watering, over feeding, and over anxious (to see seedlngs)! Couple that with the fact I'm not the ONLY one going down there. I had these last year and they were great!  We pickled a bunch of them as well as eating fresh.  Certainly can stain things.  They are so much easier, than theround ones, to cut up... more »

I'm so excited to see someone else growing Minnesota Midget!   I just picked up my seeds this weekend.  I'm going to try to grow them vertically on a cattle panel attached to the fence behind my garden.
