I'm a Chicago urban farmer with an apartment container garden where we produce over 65 varieties of vegetables and herbs, as well as have quail, chickens, and rabbits. There is also a greenhouse, grow room, and indoor herb garden. I also work as a professional organic gardener for chef Rick Bayless and several other rooftop gardens and backyard clients.

Our garden is largely recycled containers, with plants that we start ourselves or "rescued" volunteers from other places. This is the fourth year of this growing project, it's all organic using composted manure for fertility from our VERY urban hens and rabbits.... » more
