I saw those ... I'll have to try some of those they looked wonderful & much better than my first attempt last year ... I think the learning curve is faster in Texas.

I could make a long list of "Fails". I get an idea and sometimes it works out and sometimes we never speak of it again. lol  Mix a full cup of molasses into a 5 gal pail of water and pour it on your potatoes once now and then again when they are 12" high. Potatoes like molasses water. I usually do that 4 times but mine grew so tall so quick I only did it twice for fear I would grow a really good crop of tops

@Clenram: The health food store for Blackstrap Molasses. I'm thinking regular un-sulphered from the store would work just as well but Gary takes a teaspoonful every morning in a glass of water. It's very good for you.
