This sounds wonderful!

@SweetDomesticity...:  it's really good!  I love raw cabbage, the acidity of the lime juice breaks it down just a bit.  it has really great flavor & crunch, especially in the burrito w/slow cooked pork shoulder chili & veg...the idea came from an issue of Martha's Everyday Food.

I really really like those watermelon radishes. Good cold and just as nice hot. I still have one in the garden I'm letting go to seed. The owner of our local Chinese restaurant said she'd teach me to pickle them Chinese style.

@RoriTx:  I like them too...and they're pretty.  pickle the seed pods or the radishes?  I still have to pick my radish seed pods to pickle!  Chinese style, huh?  maybe you'll post that somewhere for the rest of us!  thanks.
