The seasons are changing, the garden is winding down, and Fall colors are creeping in...it's a "Bittersweet Symphony". The harvests are still coming in and we still need to think about modifying at least two of the raised beds for winter growing. While I do love this time of year, I honestly don't love all the clean up! Our... ...see more | |

It does seem like something is coming to an end, now that the Heirloom Seed 'Grow it Forward Contest' will be over tomorrow!! I'll be sticking around for sure, still harvesting quite a bit, lots of canning yet to do & many meals to make in Veebee's kitchen. This year 2012 will be the third season of my organically grown 20'x25' fenced kitchen garden. My garden grows primarily in raised beds and along vertical trellising, all surrounded with... a diverse herb border. This year I am including the most variety yet of heirloom seeds and am so excited to see how they grow and to try all the new produce. Happy Growing to all!
