I'm a sucker for a sale...bought 6 packs:  1-Winter Salad Greens, 2-Mesclun Lettuce varieties, 1-Easter Egg Radish, 1-Culinary Poppies, & 1-Nasturtium.  I'm still hoping we can get some sort of cold frame fashioned before winter so we can at least grow greens year round... (less)

Sounds good, I will check it out! Also, not sure if you ever saw our "cold frame"...Kevin built it from PVC, both the rigid and flexible kind. We were able to plant some things in March  vs. May. Some things didn't survive the frost. I am going to try to grow winter greens this year using it and mulching with straw (NOT hay). The only downside, is that when it started heating up during the spring days, we had to tilt it back to let air in, and it was HEAVy (the beds are 12ft x 4 ft). I could do it alone when I came from school, but it was not easy. (less)
