I began gardening by working with creeping phlox on the slope beside a newly installed swimming pool. There was lots of limestone and the phlox loved it. They covered an area about 20 x 50 and I gave masses of phlox to friends and fundraisers.
We moved from that house over 30 years ago but I'm still gardening on slopes. Besides the back yard rock garden, there are gardens on each side of the house and an enclosed entry garden. I like to do photo journals and in recent years have turned to organizing and publishing my favorite photos.
