The garden is located at 5400ft elevation. It is comprised of one 18"x 20' raised bed connected to three 4'x8' raised beds, four repurposed 24" pvc water pipe sections and several assorted containers. All the wood was cut and milled by a local rancher, the dirt came from an old local dead animal pit. There are also several smaller raised beds in the backyard for berries and asperagus.

Not yet, going to make an elk pot roast this week and toss them in. My father-in-law says they'll be great but my mom says they'll taste like old sweatsocks. I'll let you know how it goes! |
