After last years city disaster with waffling land agreements, no water, and far too much of my time spent communiting. I am redirecting my energies back to my own space. I hope to share our garden victories with all you lovely people this year.

turned some beds, topped the compost with straw, watered some beets and scallions...what a beautiful day to work outside with my girls!
SweetDomesticity replied about 1 year ago
I'm so envious of everyone who is able to be outside this week - it's been so gorgeous these past few days and I've been stuck indoors at work :/  Looking forward to Friday when I have the day off!

After clearing loads of brush at one of our new lots, we now have something setup to start increasing our scale of composting.  It's looking like a long windrow which is bordered on one side with pallets.  My arms are tore up from tossing logs and the amount of trash that has accumulated in the back woods is ridiculous.  Bagged... ...see more

It's warm, it's sunny, it freezes, it snows, it's sunny...going to be 70 next week? Oh Michigan and your fickle weather. I think I might sneak some peas in the ground next week.
